A Little Bit Of Website Business

April 18, 2008 by Mike

I'm holed up in a little town called Peñiscola -- stop sniggering at the back -- after the rear suspension snapped on the bike.

If it had to happen anywhere, I'm kinda glad it happened here: a campsite 50metres from the scene of the .. not crash, more of a twannnng.. so I was able to park up safely.. (it's also 50 metres from the beach).. and a few miles away from MotoSaju -- a bike shop much too small to have a website but, unbelievably, not so small that they don't have an old Triumph in the workshop being tenderly restored.

So.. long story short, Mike.. long story short.. Michael the German mechanic has been brilliant at sorting out new shocks and helping me get them on the bike.. should be home and hosed by this evening.

At which point.. and this is why I'm here.. I should be able to get to a wifi hotspot, as opposed to another faceless cybercafe, and update the site properly.

And more specifically, update the map on the homepage.

Yes!

It's a(nother) long story, but hopefully that will be resolved. When I find wifi.

Until then.. you'll be glad to hear it's been raining here too;-) (but it's still bloomin' hot.)

Hola Simon (or should that be Bonjour?)
Thanks for the tip but they're all in hotels and the wifi is "solo para clientes".. my Spanish is improving. Slowly. Just like Spain is being Internet-friendly. Slowly..
Cheers again.

Ola Mikey! I have been watching your erratic progress around the edge of Spain, and am happy to see that you are not exceeding the speed limit, as I feel you need to know Norwich requires you very much to return safely! Hope the bike is healed soon, safe journey. Hope you are as happy as ever.....Charlotte
