¡Feliz Navidad!

December 22, 2007 by Mike

So it turns out that the rain in Spain doesn't stay mainly on the plain.

I can vouch for that, sitting under a stupidly tropical rainstorm in Tarifa - the southern tip of Spain, not at all plain, and very very damp, today at least.

Goodness knows why i'm thinking about accepted wisdom that turns out to be nothing more than a fairytale at Christmastime, eh readers?

Which reminds me: a very Happy Christmas to one and all. It's not always possible, or easy, for everyone, but I wish you all happiness and a magnificently exciting, comfortable and sunny 2008.

Much more BesideTheSeasideness in the New Year. When it's stopped raining and I dare get out on the bike again.

Hulloh 'the life is too short to eat seafood 'man. A happy new year from the happy ' never forgiving u didn't stop in Belgium' couple . We arrived home 'after a 5 months on the road in the tropical south of europe' in a bleedin' snowstorm and had to spend the last money we had on a stupid formula 1 hotel the places we ran away from in the last 5 months.Anyway home is home, you shouldn't question it it's like your girlfriend has her off days too, you learn to live with it . Best wishes and many more beautiful miles and peoples on the road .
