Video 11: Village Life
May 9, 2007 by Mike
Still on the Lofoten Islands, this time with scenes from the picturesque (ie touristy) and relaxed fishing village of Nusfjord. Watch out for the fish-heads!
Hope you're smiling.

Steve -- I really appreciate you taking the time to write. I'll be off when things are right here, which could be just around the corner. And as every biker knows, 'just around the corner' is an exciting place to aim for. Have a brilliant time up there yrself. Beautiful country, beautiful people, bloody expensive beer!

Je te remercie pour tout ton travail. And I apologise for my appalling French.. and to think that's where I'm heading... soon.. fingers crossed. See you before I go.

I've been back from Norway for a week now (mmmm, Birmingham) and I can only recommend that anyone who rides a bike makes a road trip round Norway.* It's gobsmackingly, stunningly, beautiful.
*probably best done in summer.

Hi Mike,
I'm off on a bike trip to northern Norway next week (sailing from Newcastle to Bergen on the 8th June) and a quick google about motorbiking in Norway brought up your site. Which has only whetted my appetite even more! You've confirmed some places I knew I wanted to visit and flagged up a few I didn't even know of, and your diary has been an enthralling and entertaining read. Thanks! I hope you're able to get out on the bike again soon and carry on with your adventure, and that your folks are getting stronger by the day. All the best mate. steve
