In Which I Come Out Of The Woodwork

February 13, 2007 by Mike

Norwich

Hello strangers.

Just in case you're checking in to see which glam, hot, babe-infested country I'm travelling through, while you sit at home in the cold and rain and snow... I'm currently still at home in the cold and rain.

'Home' being Norwich, there isn't even any snow to make things fun.

I'm here for a while. My parents are both in hospital as I write, and they come first. I can stay here as long as I like, of course -- one of the advantages of a life (currently) spent without deadlines.. or income.

But I've been busy too -- getting my heart ever-so-slightly broken, and editing videos. Three more today from my days in northern Norway. Remember last summer? I do...

Nordkapp (less spectacular than advertised)
It's Not Grim Oop North (turn yr speakers up)
and On The Road Again (one for biking fans)

That's that for now, then. I've just realised that there is wireless internet access at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital so I may lug the laptop in hre more often. Hope you're well, gentle reader, and that the snow isn't too slushy just yet, wherever you may be.

Yes I heard you on Radio 4 but there was no contact number! My other half and I are going to do a round the med ride one day soon and I went to great lengths to get your details ie website etc. I was at a party of one of the Travellers Tree people and finally through her tracked you down. I'm sorry to read about your curtailed trip but as you say - some things take priority. I will keep checking your website for the next thrilling installment. We are very jealous. He (Brian) is still working full time so our time is not now.....

Hello Pamela -- thanks for tracking me down. i'm writing to you privately by email.. perhaps I'll track you guys down out on the road somewhere?

The researcher on Travellers' Tree said he was going to put a link to this site on the TT pages. Perhaps he went down the pub instead. It was the last show in the series, after all.
