In Which I Remember How To Update This Site
January 16, 2007 by Mike
If this seems a tad late to be wishing you a Merry New Year, please bear in mind that I've been in Norwich. We've only just been connected to the national grid up here and our Internet connections are.. well.. interesting. It all reminds me of rural Lithuania, except for the lack of snow.
I'm almost ready to work hard on some more videos for the site. Apart from that, I'm learning to sleep in a proper bed again, and getting used to not riding the bike all day -- all so that, when I start the trip again, I'll be able to describe the pains and rigours of life on the road in excruciating detail.
That should be in early February. Expect torrential downpours and unseasonal snow in the Low Countries round about then.
Hope you're keeping well.

this is a disapointment I thought it was a non-stop trip around the coast

I did consider a non-stop trip, Mark, but you can't get quite that far on a single tank of petrol.

You're going to go all soft from your break you know. You make Norwich sound like it's in the Outer Hebrides but with warm, comfy beds. At least we know that you haven't been swallowed by a black hole or abducted by aliens.
